We were approached by the manager of the Hawthorn Pub which is located track side between the 6th and 7th milestone on the Worlds most famous Road Race circuit, The Isle of Man TT. Famous TT riders including Peter Hickman, John McGuinness, James Hilliar, Conor Cumins, Lee Johnston, Ian Hutchinson, Guy Martin, Dave Molyneux, Michael Dunlop and Dean Harrison are just a number of Isle of Man TT riders who have passed this location and our Disused Chimney Cap at speeds approaching 200 mph as they take on the famous 37.75 Isle of Man TT Course.

I revisited the Hawthorn Pub several years later following the installation of the Disused Used Chimney Cap. Unfortunately no Isle of Man TT Races this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic but pleased to see that the Disused Used Chimney Cap was still very much in place and protecting the disused Chimney.
