What is it for?

If you have a problem with downdraught and are burning solid fuel (wood, coal or oil) or using a gas system then the UFO (Ultimate Flue Outlet) Flue Liner Cowl is a great solution and has been used for many years to great effect. The UFO’s specially shaped discs channel wind to create an updraught (or lower pressure) at the top of the system to counteract wind related downdraught.

What sizes & options are available?

The UFO Flue Liner Cowl comes in 3 standard sizes of 150mm (6”), 178mm (7”), and 200mm (8”).

It is made in stainless steel available in natural (unpainted), or powder coated terracotta, buff or black.

Fitting

For gas systems

The UFO Flue Liner Cowl is supplied fully assembled. For the gas version it is fitted with a mesh made to comply with current regulations. The hanger is attached to the flue with the use of an internal sleeve and stainless steel strap system along with an external leg and stainless steel strap system.

For solid fuel systems

The UFO Flue Liner Cowl is supplied fully assembled. For the solid fuel version it is fitted with a recommended mesh of made up of 1” x 1” squares. The hanger is attached to the flue with the use of an internal sleeve and stainless steel strap system along with an external leg and stainless steel strap system.
